A useful product-development enquiry starts with a clearly defined cutting problem. For diamond blades, the material, machine and required finish are more informative than a general request for “better quality”.
Provide the existing blade specification, workpiece details and observed issue. Photographs and consistent trial records help distinguish chipping, slow cutting, wear and machine-related problems.
Ask which part of the specification would change and whether a new sample is required. Keep dimensional, marking and packaging requirements documented alongside the cutting requirement.
Compare the proposed sample under the same conditions as the reference. Record the approved design and change history so future orders use the intended version.
A request for better quality is difficult to act on. A short description of the unwanted result gives the supplier a starting point.
| Instead of | Send this information |
|---|---|
| It cuts badly | Photograph the edge and explain what would count as acceptable |
| It wears too quickly | Identify the blade, material and completed work |
| We need a new colour | Separate the appearance request from the cutting specification |
| Make the next batch better | Identify the approved sample and the difference observed |
Agree what the next sample is intended to answer. A useful trial can reject a proposed change as well as approve it; keep the result with the development record.
