Wall chasing blade life depends on the wall material, machine condition and correct blade selection. There is no single RPM setting or cutting-time interval suitable for every blade.
Confirm brick or concrete type and whether reinforcement may be present. Check the wall chaser manual, blade diameter, bore, spacing system and marked speed limit. Do not substitute a large wall-saw application for a small wall-chasing disc.
Follow the equipment instructions for feed, dust extraction and cooling. Do not twist or force the disc to widen a channel. Stop if cutting behaviour changes, and disconnect the equipment before inspection.
Compare wear under repeatable conditions. Cracks, missing segments, distortion or damage to the mounting area require removal from service. Ask the supplier about glazing or uneven wear before attempting any corrective treatment.
A useful record links a worn blade to the actual wall and machine. Photograph markings before use so the blade remains identifiable later.
Use this record when requesting a replacement specification. Do not turn an observation into an operating adjustment without consulting the equipment and blade instructions.
