Choose a diamond saw blade supplier by application fit, consistent specifications and verifiable support, rather than by a low quotation alone. A distributor should be able to trace the sample tested to the production specification ordered.
List the cutting material, machine model, diameter, bore, cutting method and acceptable edge finish. Separate tile, stone and wall chasing requirements. A single general-purpose sample cannot establish suitability for every application in your range.
Ask how the supplier identifies batches, checks dimensions and handles a changed specification. Request relevant documents and verify their scope. Test competing samples on the same material with the same machine and method; record cut quality, usable cutting length and wear.
Confirm the approved drawing, blade marking, packaging, quantity, sample approval process and handling of nonconforming goods in writing. Clarify lead time and repeat-order consistency before comparing landed quotations.
Send a separate line for each application. Include the material name and thickness, machine model, current blade dimensions, expected monthly quantity and delivery destination. Attach a photograph of the current blade marking and describe the problem you want to solve, such as edge chipping or inconsistent wear. Ask suppliers to identify anything missing before they recommend a sample.
Give each sample a reference and record the specification revision, test date, material batch and outcome. Write down which characteristics passed and which still need work. Keep the approved sample or photographs with the order record. If a supplier changes the bond, dimensions or manufacturing specification later, request a new comparison before treating the replacement as equivalent.
Send each candidate the same enquiry and keep unanswered items visible. A polished brochure is not a completed comparison.

| Sample approval | Sample identifier, acceptance criteria and recorded trial outcome |
| Repeat orders | Drawing revision, batch identification and change approval process |
| Order support | Named contact and written handling of specification or delivery changes |
