Quality documents are useful only when their scope matches the supplier, product and claim being evaluated. A management-system certificate is not a guarantee of the cutting performance of every blade.
Check the named organisation, issuer, scope and validity. Distinguish a management-system certificate, a laboratory report and a model-specific product specification. Ask the supplier to explain how each document relates to the model quoted.
Dimensions, permitted applications, markings and test conditions should be traceable to the blade. A generic certificate image should not replace a current drawing or application approval. Verify destination requirements with qualified advisers where needed.
Record the sample reference and agreed acceptance criteria. Keep documentation with purchase records so a repeat order can be checked against the approved specification.
Record the document title, issuing organisation, issue date, expiry date if stated, supplier name and model or batch covered. Store the complete document rather than an isolated logo or cropped first page. When the company name or model differs from the quotation, ask for an explanation and a traceable link before using the document in your approval record.
Mark missing or unclear evidence as pending. Ask the supplier to provide the full report, confirm the tested sample reference and explain any differences from the proposed production specification. Keep your correspondence with the sample approval. A document that supports one model or one test result should not be described in your catalogue as covering every product from the factory.
A document is easier to assess when it is attached to a specific claim rather than displayed as a general badge.
| Claim being evaluated | Document reference | Unresolved question |
|---|---|---|
| Supplier identity | Business or quotation details | Does the named entity match the order? |
| Model specification | Drawing or product sheet | Is the revision the one being supplied? |
| Sample performance | Test record | Are sample and test conditions identified? |
| Certification claim | Complete current document | What exact entity, scope and validity does it cover? |
Keep the complete document and the response to each question. This table is a buyer record, not a statement that every type of document is available for every Zhanyue model.
