Successful cutting begins before the disc touches the material. Check the blade, machine and workpiece together, and follow the supplied operating instructions for the actual procedure.
Identify the material and choose an approved blade. Confirm diameter, bore, direction, guard and marked speed limit. Inspect the core and rim for damage with the machine disconnected.
Support the workpiece to avoid movement and pinching. Use the specified cooling or dust extraction. Do not twist a cutting blade, force a stalled cut or use its side as a grinding surface unless that exact tool is approved for the operation.
Stop for abnormal vibration, binding or damage. Give the supplier the material, machine, blade reference and symptoms; a generic speed adjustment is not a substitute for identifying the cause.
Use three short stages so that an unresolved setup item does not disappear into the performance record.
The checklist describes information to retain. The equipment and blade instructions govern the actual installation and operating procedure; the table does not supply universal settings.
